The Research Committee on Electronic Circuits of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of
Japan (IEEJ) is sponsoring and cooperating with Department of Electrical Engineering,
Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University and Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
to hold the 2009 International Analog VLSI Workshop in Chiangmai, on 18-20 November 2009.
The purpose of the Workshop is to exchange information, ideas and recent research results on
analog VLSI circuits and their applications. This Workshop provides an informal setting for a group
of analog VLSI specialists from both industry and academic worldwide, to meet and brainstorm.
The work does not have to be complete, e.g. results from a test chip are not mandatory.

The topics for the workshop include the following but are not limited to:

・  Amplifiers
・  Comparators
・  Voltage References
・  A/D and D/A Converters
・  Mixed Analog and Digital Circuits
・  Analog Signal and Information Processing Applications
    (Telecommunication, Multimedia, Consumer, Medical, Automotive, Space, Military, etc.)
・  Filters
・  Multipliers
・  Sample-And-Hold Circuits
・  Consumer Electronics
・  Analog Circuit Simulators
・  RF and Microwave Circuits
・  Analog Layout Techniques

Authors are required to send their manuscripts written in English within 4-6 pages, along with
information which includes the complete title, author name(s), affiliation(s) of author(s), and
corresponding author (name, postal and e-mail addresses, telephone/fax numbers), via online
submission at our website (http://www.doe.eng.cmu.ac.th/avlsiws2009) by June 30, 2009. After
peer reviewing by experts, notification of acceptance will be sent via e-mail by August 18, 2009.
Camera ready manuscript should be prepared in the workshop format which is provided on the
website. The deadline for camera-ready manuscript submission is August 31, 2009. At least one
of the authors must register by September 11, 2009, otherwise the paper will not be included in
the workshop proceedings. Note that one registration covers up to two papers. It is mandatory that
all accepted papers must be presented at the workshop.
